Eating These Four Foods is Like a Slow Suicide.

Most nutritionists believe that there are no absolutely good or bad foods, and "moderate intake" is the key to a healthy diet. Fox News recently published an article listing four foods that are harmful to health when consumed in excess.

1. Processed meats

A study published in the British Journal of Cancer found that excessive consumption of processed meats like hot dogs and sausages increases the risk of pancreatic cancer and diabetes. Additionally, eating too much processed meat can also increase the risk of colorectal cancer. The UK's Department of Health advises the public to limit daily intake of red and processed meats to less than 70 grams.

2. Supermarket-frozen staple foods

Frozen staple foods, such as frozen dumplings, contain excessive amounts of fat, salt, and calories, and their overconsumption or frequent consumption is detrimental to health.

3. Carbonated drinks

Carbonated drinks are high in calories, sugar, and low in nutrients. Excessive consumption can easily lead to weight gain and increase the risk of diseases such as diabetes and heart disease. Numerous studies have found that artificial sweeteners added to beverages are linked to various cancers.

4. Sugar-free foods

Sugar-free foods, such as sugar-free cola and sugar-free jelly, contain artificial sweeteners. Although these sweeteners reduce calories, they can stimulate appetite, increase cravings for sugar, and may also increase the risk of certain cancers.
