Malaysian researchers have claimed that walnuts, a popular snack, have significant aphrodisiac properties. Based on research conducted over the past two years, researchers from a Malaysian university have concluded that pills made from walnut extract can serve as a substitute for Viagra.
The professor leading the study stated that 40 volunteers have so far tried the walnut-based pills with positive reactions. He described the new drug as comparable to Viagra, noting that its effects are safe and reliable. The professor mentioned that the pill takes about one minute to take effect after consumption, and the effects typically last for four hours.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), it is not surprising that the Malaysian university's research found walnuts to have aphrodisiac properties, as Chinese medical texts have long recorded their ability to "nourish the kidneys and strengthen the brain." Contemporary TCM often uses walnuts in medicinal formulas or as a dietary therapy to achieve the goal of nourishing the kidneys and strengthening the brain. This includes promoting intellectual development in adults, children, and even fetuses still in the womb.
