Ginger is best consumed in the morning. This is because the body's Qi needs to rise and flourish in the morning, and eating ginger can strengthen the spleen and stomach, preparing the digestive system for the day's meals. There are many ways to eat ginger in the morning, such as simmering it in a soup, pickling it with sugar, or stir-frying it in dishes. Here, I recommend two methods for you to choose from as needed.
1. Holding Ginger Slices in the Morning: Every morning after waking up, first drink a glass of water. Then, peel a piece of ginger, slice it thinly, and take 4-5 slices to briefly scald in a bowl of hot water. Place the ginger slices in your mouth and hold them for 10-30 minutes, chewing them slowly. Do not swallow them all at once. Consistently consuming this is very beneficial for preventing colds.
2. Drinking Ginger and Jujube Soup. For friends who often work in air-conditioned rooms during the summer, you can take 10 jujube dates, 5 slices of ginger, and an appropriate amount of brown sugar each morning to make a soup. Drink it as a substitute for tea once a day. This is especially suitable for women.
