What delicious foods should I prepare for a spring picnic?

Spring has arrived, the weather is warm and flowers are blooming, it's time for spring outings again! What delicious foods should be prepared for a picnic?

How to make decorative sushi

1. Prepare sushi vinegar by boiling salt, sugar, and white vinegar in a 1:5:10 ratio. Mix it with the steamed rice and let it cool to hand temperature.

2. Cut the egg omelette into squares. Spread a layer of rice on top, add half a crab stick, and some carrot and cucumber. Roll it up.

3. For the outer roll: First, lay half a sheet of nori. Spread a layer of rice completely over the nori. Then, cover with plastic wrap. Lift the plastic wrap and nori together and flip them over so the plastic wrap is on the bottom and the nori is on top. Roll it up. As you roll, pull the sushi mat and plastic wrap forward; don't roll them into the sushi. Spread crab roe or chopped broccoli florets on a large plate. Place the 4 rolled outer rolls on top and roll them once in the roe/florets.

4. The finished sushi includes outer rolls, inner rolls, and egg rolls. Cut into pieces to serve.

Croquettes

1. Wash and peel the potatoes. Place them in a steamer over boiling water to steam. To make them cook faster, I sliced the potatoes into thick pieces. Place the potato slices or whole potatoes on the steamer rack and steam until completely tender.

2. Take the steamed potatoes out and let them cool. Let them air dry at room temperature for about 2 hours before mashing. The reason for this is that after steaming, the potatoes are still full of moisture. Letting them air dry for two hours first makes the croquettes easier to shape and tastier. However, air-dried potatoes are not very easy to mash, so you can skip this step if you prefer; mashing them directly without drying is also fine.

4. Finely chop the onion.

5. Pour a little oil into a frying pan, heat it, then add the chopped onion and sauté until fragrant and soft. Add the minced meat and continue stir-frying. When the meat changes color, add a little salt, then some black pepper for seasoning. Mix well and turn off the heat.

6. Add the sautéed onion and minced meat to the mashed potatoes and mix well. The ratio of filling to potato can be 1:1.

7. Divide the potato mixture into several portions and shape them into desired forms, such as cylinders, balls, or flat pattens. Then, coat them in flour, egg wash, and breadcrumbs. Our croquette semi-finished products are now ready.

8. Finally, just deep-fry or pan-fry until golden brown. The potato filling and the ingredients inside are already cooked, so they don't need to be fried for long. Just fry until the outer crust is crispy for the best taste. Pay attention to the heat while frying; observe and turn them frequently. With more practice, we will definitely improve! :) I think food can be both delicious and beautiful~

Homemade drinks are healthier

1. Dice your favorite fruits into small pieces. I like to add apples and pineapple. Passion fruit should also be a great addition!

2. Put the diced fruits into a glass bottle, and add a slice of candied lemon.

3. You can also add the juice from the candied lemon or honey to adjust the sweetness.

4. Seal the glass bottle. Pack the iced black tea and ice cubes in separate thermoses, and you're ready to go.

5. Upon arriving at the picnic spot, pour the iced black tea and ice cubes into the glass bottle with the fruit.

6. A refreshing, icy fruit tea is ready!
