Beer stored in the refrigerator should be kept at a temperature of 5-10°C because the solubility of carbon dioxide in beer varies with temperature. Within this temperature range, the various components of beer are in harmony and balance, creating the best flavor.
Beer that is too cold is not only unpleasant to drink, but it can also cause the proteins in the liquid to break down and become free, destroying the nutritional value.
Unpasteurized beer is made by filtering out yeast and other microorganisms through a sterile membrane, followed by aseptic filling. At 5-10°C, the nutritional components and flavor of unpasteurized beer are also most stable.
Do not drink excessively
Beer has a low alcohol content and is rich in nutrients. Some people drink beer heartily on hot days, consuming four or five bottles in a row. The large amount of water consumed will be quickly excreted, but the alcohol is rapidly absorbed, increasing the lead content in the blood.
If consumed excessively every day throughout the summer, it can suppress and affect the normal vitality of cells, and may also lead to fat accumulation, blocking the synthesis of ribonucleic acid, causing "beer heart" and a "pot belly," thereby affecting the normal function of the heart.
The capacity of a large bottle of beer is generally 640 ml, and it is recommended that the daily consumption does not exceed 1000 ml.
Smoked fish is not a suitable pairing
There is an important piece of common sense: when drinking a large amount of beer, the dishes served should not include smoked foods such as smoked fish or smoked meat.
This is because smoked foods contain organic amines, and during cooking, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, amino acid derivatives, and even benzopyrene can be produced. When excessive drinking increases the lead content in the blood, these substances in smoked foods can combine with it, inducing digestive diseases or even tumors. On hot days, due to the high consumption of beer, the probability of inducing such diseases is often higher.
Bottles should not be tied together
In recent years, there have been frequent incidents of beer bottles exploding and injuring people, some involving bottles that were tied with string after purchase and exploded during the trip home due to collisions. Sealed beer bottles contain a certain amount of internal pressure. When the ambient temperature is high, the pressure inside the bottle also increases. Therefore, special attention must be paid to "explosion prevention" when buying beer on hot days. Do not purchase off-brand beer from other regions with non-standard labels, tied packaging, or bottles without a "B" mark.
