Why rice and meat should not be eaten together.

Experts point out that digestive system problems, such as: stomach cancer, gastritis, stomach ulcers, colon cancer, etc., are mainly caused by eating too many animal-based foods and processed foods (so-called "processed foods" are foods from which fiber, minerals, and vitamins have been removed, such as white sugar, white rice, and white bread).

Usually, carnivores need more gastric juice to digest the meat they eat,

and their intestines are also relatively short, so that they can quickly expel the decaying meat from their bodies. Many people love to eat meat just like carnivores, but because humans do not have the innate functions of carnivores—our gastric acid is only half as acidic as that of carnivores and cannot digest meat quickly; our intestines are also much longer than those of carnivores and cannot quickly expel the decaying meat.

From the above analysis, it is not difficult to understand: the human digestive system is actually closer to that of herbivores and is more suitable for digesting high-fiber foods.  Therefore, experts believe that the first principle of health is to eat more high-fiber plant-based foods, that is, a vegetarian diet.

If you cannot give up meat, your diet should also be light, and you should not have too many types of food per meal. Eating too many different types of food is a burden on the stomach and the entire digestive system. For example: digesting carbohydrates and protein foods requires different digestive juices. If eaten at the same time, neither can be fully digested, which will overtax the stomach's function.

Undigested food is also likely to accumulate in the intestines and decay, providing an environment for the growth of harmful bacteria, which is one of the causes of cancer.

Therefore, the best method is not to eat high-protein foods and carbohydrates at the same time, for example: meat is not suitable to be eaten with rice or bread at the same time.

Vegetables can be paired with carbohydrates or legumes, but fruits are best eaten alone.

If you follow these principles, you will not put too much strain on your stomach, leading to indigestion and eventually causing various digestive system diseases.

It is best to eat some fresh, uncooked fruits, vegetables, and sprouts with each meal. Their vitamins are helpful in preventing stomach cancer.
