The most fundamental principle of a light diet is food variety, with staple foods mainly being grains, more vegetables and fruits, and regular consumption of dairy, beans, and moderate amounts of fish, poultry, eggs, and lean meat. On this basis, it is also recommended to keep the diet light and low in salt, controlling the intake of fat and salt. Here, the "one to seven" light diet model is particularly recommended.
One fruit. Eat at least one fresh, vitamin-rich fruit every day. Persisting in this for a long time will yield noticeable skin-beautifying effects.
Two plates of vegetables. You should eat two plates of diverse vegetables daily, one of which should be fresh, seasonal, and dark green. It is best to eat some raw green onions, tomatoes, cold-dressed celery, radishes, etc., to avoid destroying vitamins during heating. The actual intake should be kept at around 400 grams.
Three spoons of vegetable oil. The daily cooking oil limit is three spoons, and it is best to use vegetable oil, which can make the skin smooth and protect cardiovascular health.
Four bowls of coarse grains. Four bowls of coarse grains daily can strengthen the body and improve your figure.
Five servings of protein food. Eat 50 grams of meat (preferably lean meat), 50 grams of fish, 200 grams of tofu or bean products, 1 egg, and 1 cup of milk or milk powder daily. This method, combining low-fat plant protein with non-high-fat animal protein, is economical and affordable, relatively reduces animal fat and cholesterol, and is a recognized healthy diet.
Six types of condiments. Try to use condiments like vinegar, green onions, garlic, chili, and mustard to enhance appetite, detoxify and sterilize, and relax muscles and promote blood circulation.
Seven glasses of plain water (200 ml each). Drink at least 7 glasses of water daily to replenish body fluids and promote metabolism. It should be noted to drink less sugar-added or colored beverages.
Adhering to this "one to seven" diet model will basically achieve the goal of a light diet.
