1. Deodorizing plastic containers. Food containers can easily absorb odors. First, pour some tomato juice into the container, coating the inside. Let it sit for two minutes, then wash it clean with warm water containing detergent, and the odor will be completely gone.
2. Removing odors from the refrigerator. A long power outage can cause food in the refrigerator to spoil and create strong odors. Try using tomato juice to eliminate the bad smell. Dip a scouring pad in tomato juice and wipe the inside walls of the refrigerator, then rinse with warm soapy water and dry.
3. Soothing a sore throat. Mix half a cup of tomato juice with half a cup of warm water and use it as a gargle to help relieve the symptoms of a sore throat.
