Seven Main Signs of a Healthy Body

When you feel unwell, many people suspect they have a serious illness. In fact, your body may be healthier than you think. If your body exhibits the following 7 signs, it means it's functioning well.

1. Relatively clear and abundant urine. If you urinate several times a day and the urine is pale yellow, not cloudy, dark, or too yellow, it indicates that your body is well-hydrated and your kidneys are healthy. If the urine is completely colorless, it may mean you are overhydrated or have lost salt and electrolytes. Besides changes in the color of the urine, pay attention to the smell; a sweet or strange odor, or red-colored urine should be a cause for concern.

2. Regular bowel movements. If your stool does not contain blood, is neither too loose nor too hard, and you have a regular schedule for bowel movements, allowing your body to expel waste quickly and effectively, it means your diet has enough fiber and your digestive system is in good condition.

3. Weight within a normal range. Maintaining a generally stable weight is also one of the signs of health. If your weight suddenly fluctuates significantly, or your appetite increases or decreases sharply, it should be a cause for concern.

4. Fast wound healing. If small wounds like cuts, scrapes, or burns heal quickly, then congratulations, your blood is in a healthy state. If unexplained bruises appear from lightly pressing the skin, you should seek medical attention promptly.

5. Healthy hair and nails. The skin system (including hair and nails) is often the first to indicate if you are deficient in vitamins. Vitamin deficiency is usually characterized by brittle, easily deformed nails, and excessive hair loss. In healthy individuals, nails are typically pink, hard, and round. The skin should be elastic; when you press it, it should return to normal quickly.

6. Regular menstrual cycles for women, and a teaspoon of ejaculate for men. A timely menstrual cycle is the most important indicator of a healthy female reproductive system. Healthy middle-aged men should ejaculate 2-5 milliliters each time; less than 2 millimeters may be a sign of oligospermia. Healthy semen should be white or gray and thick. If the semen is bloody or too thin, you should go to the hospital for a check-up.

7. Good sleep. It's normal to occasionally have insufficient sleep or insomnia. As long as your sleep is generally regular and you don't have night sweats or get up multiple times to urinate, then you basically meet the requirements for good sleep. If you wake up feeling refreshed, that is also a very good health sign.
