- 50g Chinese yam powder

- 30g lotus seed paste

- 20dried longan pulp, chopped

- 20g red dates, pitted and diced

- 50g rock sugar, finely ground

- 200ml warm water

- 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Steps:

1. Mix Dry Ingredients: Combine glutinous rice flour, rice flour, yam powder, poria cocos powder, and ground rock sugar in a bowl. Ensure even mixing.

2. Add Wet Ingredients: Gradually pour in warm water while stirring to form a thick, smooth batter. Stir in honey if desired.

3. Incorporate Fillings: Fold in chopped longan, red dates, and lotus seed paste evenly. Avoid overmixing to prevent the batter from becoming watery.

5. Cool & Serve: Let the cake cool completely before cutting into squares. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
