Xiong Miao, a director of the Beijing Nutritionists Association, believes that for people with a cold constitution or minor health issues, eating a bit of ginger can actually help improve their health, especially the following four types of people.
First, those with a cold constitution.
Women, especially those who often experience menstrual pain, mostly have a cold constitution. These individuals are best suited to eating ginger appropriately. For uterine cold and menstrual pain, drinking ginger brown sugar water in a timely manner can relieve and eliminate the pain after a short while. People with a cold constitution are more afraid of the cold than others, have cold hands and feet, and are prone to diarrhea after eating cold foods. Regularly consuming a little ginger can warm the middle burner and expel cold.

Second, those with a cold stomach.
People with a cold stomach prefer hot drinks and often have dry heaves of clear water in the morning. Such individuals can eat more ginger to warm the stomach. If you usually have a cold stomach and have eaten some cold fruits, it is best to drink a glass of ginger brown sugar water promptly to warm the stomach and dispel cold, preventing the body from being harmed by cold.
Third, those suffering from a wind-cold cold.
Many people know that ginger brown sugar water is effective for expelling cold. If you have just caught a wind-cold, drinking ginger and scallion brown sugar water in a timely manner can induce sweating and expel cold. Generally, after sweating and taking a nap, the cold will be resolved immediately. It should be noted that this remedy must not be used for a wind-heat cold.
Fourth, those with poor appetite.
As the saying goes, "When your meal isn't fragrant, eat ginger." Ginger can also refresh the mind and awaken the senses. Some people sweat profusely after eating ginger and feel refreshed and comfortable all over. Of course, you must not catch a cold at this time, as doing so often leads to a "cold trapping fire" condition.
