Due to physiological differences, women are more prone to constipation. Some people don't take constipation seriously, while others are too embarrassed to see a doctor. In fact, long-term constipation can easily lead to more severe consequences, even cancer. Therefore, in daily life, it's important to pay attention to your diet and avoid constipation.
1. Seaweed and Sesame Rice
Cut 100 grams of roasted seaweed into fine strips. Then, grind 120 grams of black sesame and 120 grams of white sesame seeds with a rolling pin. Mix these three ingredients together and store them in a jar. Add a spoonful or two to your rice with each meal. Teacher Fuzhe explains that seaweed is rich in nutrients like carotene, calcium, potassium, and iron, which can promote gastrointestinal movement; while sesame seeds contain a large amount of amino acids, dietary fiber, and minerals, which can promote bowel movements.
2. Cabbage with Vinegar Dressing
The method is: blanch 500 grams of cabbage in boiling water with a little salt. After cooling, squeeze out the water, cut it into pieces, and then mix one cup of vinegar, 1/2 cup of broth, two spoons of cooking wine, and 1/2 spoon of salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil to make the dressing.
Once the dressing has cooled, pour it over the cabbage in a sealed jar and let it sit for a day before eating. Cabbage is rich in various vitamins and dietary fiber, which can enhance intestinal peristalsis.
3. Vinegar-Marinated Lotus Root
Blanch the lotus root, then mix it with an appropriate amount of sugar, salt, vinegar, and sesame oil according to your personal taste. Store the mixed lotus root in a sealed jar and take some out daily as a side dish with meals. Teacher Fuzhe says that lotus root can cleanse the intestines, prevent stool from becoming hard, stimulate the intestinal wall, and prevent constipation.
4. Boiled Kelp and Soybeans
Slice 300 grams of kelp and blanch it in boiling water until cooked. Boil 100 grams of soybeans until cooked. Let both the kelp and soybeans cool, then drain the water. Mix in salt, soy sauce, MSG, and chopped green onions and stir well. Kelp is rich in dietary fiber, which can promote intestinal peristalsis and increase bowel movements; the unsaturated fatty acids in soybeans can also promote bowel movements, and its rich dietary fiber can absorb water in the intestines, increasing the volume of stool.
