Three Major Taboos of Eating Eggs

Eggs are a common food for many people due to their rich nutritional value and delicious taste. However, according to the Health Times, it is one of the biggest misconceptions in daily diet to eat eggs with sugar, soy milk, or rabbit meat.

Taboo 1: Eggs cooked with sugar

Many places have the habit of eating sugar water poached eggs. In fact, cooking eggs with sugar causes the amino acids in egg protein to form a fructoselysine compound. This substance is not easily absorbed by the human body and has adverse effects on health.

Taboo 2: Eggs eaten with soy milk

Many people have the habit of eating an egg when drinking soy milk in the morning, or boiling eggs beaten into soy milk. Soy milk is mild in nature and sweet in taste, and contains many nutrients, which has a strong nourishing effect when consumed alone. However, it contains a special substance called trypsin, which combines with ovomucin in the egg white, causing a loss of nutrients and reducing the nutritional value of both.

Taboo 3: Eggs eaten with rabbit meat

Eggs also cannot be eaten with rabbit meat. Eating eggs with rabbit meat can irritate the gastrointestinal tract and cause diarrhea.
