Ginger is truly a wonderful thing. In addition to its well-known use as a seasoning, ginger also has medicinal properties. As the saying goes, "Eating ginger in all four seasons keeps a hundred illnesses at bay." This shows how beneficial ginger is for health. Here, I'll share another way to use ginger: soaking in hot ginger water to treat many common ailments in life.
Little ginger, great uses
1. Migraine
When a migraine attacks, soak your hands in hot ginger water for about 15 minutes. The pain will lessen or even disappear.
2. Drunkenness
Drink hot ginger water like tea to speed up blood circulation and digest alcohol in your body. You can also add some honey to the hot ginger water to relieve or eliminate drunkenness.
3. Facial acne
Wash your face with hot ginger water, once in the morning and once at night, for about 60 days. The acne will reduce and disappear. This method also has a certain therapeutic effect on freckles and dry skin.
4. Waist and shoulder pain
First, add a little salt and vinegar to hot ginger water. Then, soak a towel in the water, wring it out, and apply it to the affected area, repeating several times. This method can relax muscles, promote blood circulation, and greatly relieve pain.
5. Enterobiasis (pinworm disease)
Before sleeping each day, first wash the area around the anus with hot ginger water, then drink 1 to 2 cups of hot ginger water. Continue this for about 10 days to cure the condition.
6. Foot odor
Soak your feet in hot ginger water, adding some salt and vinegar during the soak. Soak for about 15 minutes, pat them dry, and add some body powder. The odor will be eliminated.
7. High blood pressure
When blood pressure rises, soak your feet in hot ginger water for about 15 minutes. Soaking the feet in hot ginger water can reflexively cause blood vessels to dilate, causing blood pressure to subsequently decrease.
8. Cold and headache
Soak your feet in hot ginger water, with the water level high enough to cover the ankles. You can add salt and vinegar to the hot ginger water during the soak and continuously add hot water until the tops of your feet turn red. This method is very effective for treating colds, headaches, and coughs caused by wind-cold.
9. Canker sores
Gargle with hot ginger water like tea, 2 to 3 times a day. Generally, the ulcer will heal after 6 to 9 applications.
