Five types of people should not eat crab.

It is reported that crab is a highly allergenic food, commonly known as a "trigger food" in folk medicine. The following groups of people should be cautious when eating crab.

First group: Individuals with a history of crab allergies, or those suffering from urticaria, allergic asthma, or allergic dermatitis. It is best for children, the elderly, pregnant women, and especially those with allergic constitutions to avoid eating crab.

Second group: Patients with cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, hepatitis, acute or chronic pancreatitis, and severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases should try to eat crab sparingly or not at all. It is particularly important not to consume crab with alcohol for a cheerful drinking session.

Third group: People with diarrhea, stomach pain, colds, fever, or a naturally weak and cold digestive system should not eat crab. Because crab is a cold-natured food with high levels of protein and fat, it is difficult to digest and absorb. It can also worsen digestive discomfort, leading to symptoms such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and vomiting.

Fourth group: Pregnant women with a cold and weak constitution are not suitable for eating crab, as it may induce a miscarriage.

Fifth group: Infants and young children should not eat crab, as the high protein content can place an additional burden on the liver and kidneys.
