Is the "two-day yogurt diet" reliable?

The popular two-day yogurt diet circulating online is actually unreliable, as the weight loss effect of using yogurt is not significant, and the two-day timeframe is just a gimmick. However, yogurt does have many benefits for the human body, as it can promote intestinal peristalsis and reduce fat storage.

The yogurt diet can help clear the intestines, remove accumulated waste, and regulate the intestinal flora by increasing probiotics, which in turn promotes digestion and absorption. Drinking yogurt after a meal can also activate digestive enzymes in the stomach and accelerate intestinal motility.

1. Morning

Every morning after waking up, first drink a glass of plain water, then a glass of honey water. Then, consume a serving of yogurt (about 200ml), followed by a slice of whole wheat bread or a bowl of oatmeal. Try to buy low-sugar or low-fat yogurt (with a fat content of 1.0-1.5%).

2. Noon

If you feel very hungry, start with a bowl of soup, a few bites of rice, or a few crackers. Then, drink a serving of yogurt (about 200ml), followed by 100g of chicken, beef, mutton, fish, organ meat, or blood, which are mainly to supplement iron. Add a plate of vegetables; if no cooked vegetables are available, you can eat cherry tomatoes, large tomatoes, lettuce, etc. After the meal, drink two cups of oolong tea to aid digestion.

3. 4 PM

When feeling hungry, you can drink another cup of yogurt.

4. Evening

Before the meal, drink a glass of water or soup. Then, have a plate of green leafy vegetables (either boiled in soup with chicken essence, or dressed with a few drops of sesame oil). Next, have a cup of yogurt, similar to the noon meal. If you get hungry, you can eat some fruit.
