Six Important Notes for Storing and Freezing Food

1. Hot food must never be placed in a running refrigerator.

2. Do not overfill or pack food too tightly. Leave space for cold air to circulate. This reduces the unit's load, extends its service life, and saves energy.

3. Raw and cooked food should not be stored together to maintain hygiene. Make rational use of the internal space according to the storage time and temperature requirements for different foods. Do not place food directly on the evaporator surface; use containers to prevent it from freezing onto the evaporator, which would make it difficult to remove.

4. Fresh fish and meat should be wrapped in plastic bags and stored in the freezer. Vegetables and fruits should have their surface moisture wiped off and be stored in the bottom compartment of the refrigerator, preferably at a temperature above freezing.

5. Do not place bottled or canned liquid beverages in the freezer, as this may cause the containers to crack. They should be stored in the fresh food compartment or on the door shelf, preferably at a temperature of around 4°C.

6. A refrigerator used for storing food should not also be used to store chemicals.
