Computer radiation can cause autonomic nervous system dysfunction and depression. Additionally, the constantly changing and scrolling characters on a computer screen can strain the eyes, and computer operators often experience eye fatigue, shoulder soreness, and back pain. Working in a state of dehydration, malnutrition, and vitamin deficiency lowers the body's resistance to radiation, making one more susceptible to illness.
To prevent these occupational diseases among computer operators, attention should be paid to a balanced diet.
Breakfast: Should be nutritious and substantial to ensure vigorous energy and sufficient calories.
Lunch: Should include more foods high in protein, such as lean pork, beef, lamb, chicken, duck, animal organs, various fish, beans, and bean products.
Dinner: Should be light, with more foods high in vitamins, such as various fresh vegetables, followed by some fresh fruit.
Brain-healthy foods: Choose foods rich in phospholipids to benefit brain health, for example, egg yolks, fish, shrimp, walnuts, and peanuts.
Eye-healthy foods: IT professionals should consciously choose more foods that protect eye health to prevent nearsightedness and other eye diseases. Foods beneficial for the eyes include the livers of various animals, cow's milk, goat's milk, cream, millet, walnuts, carrots, green vegetables, spinach, Chinese cabbage, tomatoes, water spinach, wolfberries, and various fresh fruits.
Furthermore, after working for 1-2 hours, computer operators should get up and move their whole body and do eye exercises. By paying attention to dietary structure and balancing work with rest, one can enhance the body's resistance and prevent related diseases.
