Drink a glass of water in the morning.

Drinking water upon waking is not only a great compensation for the body but also an effective purification. This is a health habit recognized by the medical community.

In the early morning, the stomach is empty. With the body's movement, the water acts like a cleanser, scouring the stomach walls of residual waste. Pathogens thus have nowhere to settle and struggle to form pathogenic colonies, losing their chance to cause trouble. Even if the stomach wall is inflamed, it will naturally heal with this daily morning cleansing.

Water remains in the stomach for a short time. Besides a small amount being absorbed, over 80% is absorbed into the bloodstream in the small intestine. The newly consumed water reaches every corner of the body in about 21 seconds, promoting the renewal of the entire body. First, it cleanses the body and removes pollutants. The harm of environmental pollution to humans occurs imperceptibly. A wide variety of harmful and toxic substances enter our daily meals—grains, vegetables, fruits, meat, eggs, and milk—through chain reactions and bioaccumulation in the food chain. Others invade the body directly through the respiratory tract and skin, causing potential harm from internal accumulation. Morning drinking can effectively eliminate these pollutants and ensure the normal metabolism of cells. Second, it hydrates the body and prevents diseases. It dilutes the blood, lowers blood viscosity, and effectively prevents cardiovascular and cerebrovascular patients from having accidents in the morning, preventing heart disease and stroke. It dilutes urine, dissolving solid toxins accumulated overnight to be excreted, which flushes the urinary tract, prevents urinary tract infections, and helps prevent urinary stones. It also helps promptly expel carcinogens, avoiding bladder cancer. Third, it keeps tiny fat particles hydrated and elastic, protecting the skin and achieving a beautifying effect.

After passing through the small intestine, most of the water is absorbed, with the remainder entering the large intestine where it splits into two paths: part is absorbed by the intestinal wall into the bloodstream, and the other part acts as a diluent for feces, ensuring smooth bowel movements, effectively preventing constipation, and also reducing the occurrence of hemorrhoids.
