Dr. Robin, a professor of nutrition and behavioral science in the United States, pointed out that there is a period of time every afternoon when people are most likely to feel drowsy, but eating desserts like chocolate can not only refresh the mind but also improve work efficiency.
Dr. Robin once conducted an experiment with 36 selected men and women. He had each person eat a half-ounce (about 25 grams) chocolate bar containing about 260 calories at 3 p.m. every day. As a result, these people showed a 20% improvement in work efficiency, speed, accuracy, memory, and mental concentration.
