Unhealthy Eating Habits Lead to Belly Fat and Poor Health

Many traditional ladies choose Chinese-style breakfasts, grabbing a shaobing and youtiao before heading to work. In reality, shaobing and youtiao are high-temperature fried foods. After being deep-fried, they absorb a significant amount of oil, causing their fat content to severely exceed standards. Furthermore, nutrients are destroyed, and carcinogenic substances can be produced, making them unsuitable for long-term consumption.

Breakfast 1: Shaobing and Youtiao

Many traditional ladies opt for Chinese-style breakfasts, grabbing a shaobing and youtiao on their way to work. In fact, youtiao has an extremely high fat content, with a single piece containing 220 calories. Shaobing and youtiao are high-temperature fried foods. After being deep-fried, they absorb a considerable amount of oil, leading to a severely excessive fat content. Moreover, nutrients are destroyed, and carcinogenic substances may be produced, making them unsuitable for regular consumption.

Breakfast 2: Western-Style Breakfast

Many office workers enjoy buying breakfast from McDonald's, KFC, or 7-Eleven, such as hamburgers, fried chicken wings, or french fries. Although delicious, western-style breakfasts contain significantly more calories than their Chinese counterparts. The meat in hamburgers, chicken wings, or french fries has a dangerously high oil content, so it's no surprise it gets stored as fat. Furthermore, the thin slice of lettuce in a hamburger provides far too few vitamins to meet the body's needs.

Breakfast 3: Snack Breakfast

Office workers often keep snacks like snow crackers, biscuits, or chocolate at home or in the office for emergencies, and some even eat them for breakfast. This is actually quite unhealthy. Most snacks are dry foods, which are not easy to digest and absorb for the body, which is in a semi-dehydrated state in the morning. Additionally, snacks like biscuits are primarily made from grains. While they can provide energy quickly, they will soon leave you feeling hungry again, causing your blood sugar levels to drop significantly before noon. Eating snacks for breakfast can easily lead to malnutrition, a weakened constitution, and make you more susceptible to illness.

Breakfast 4: Fruit and Vegetable Juice

Ladies often replace breakfast with fruit or vegetable juice to lose weight. Fruits and vegetables are rich in fiber, which aids in cleansing and detoxification and does have a weight-loss effect. However, the sugar in fruits is mostly simple sugar, which is absorbed directly to provide the body with energy. The energy they provide is limited, however, and is insufficient for the demands of a morning's work. Eating only fruit can make you hungry, which may cause you to consume even more calories later.

Furthermore, some women often just drink a glass of juice for breakfast. Even pure fresh orange juice, made from three oranges, contains 150 calories. Moreover, you miss out on the fiber from the orange pulp and the Vitamin B in the pith, so its nutritional value is lower than eating the whole fruit.

Breakfast 5: Instant Noodles

Some ladies opt for convenience and rely on a cup of instant noodles to get them through the morning. While instant noodles are quick, easy, and tasty, they are often fried, resulting in a very high fat content. The soup powder is also usually high in MSG, which is harmful to health in large amounts. Furthermore, the dehydrated vegetables in instant noodles provide no vitamins or fiber, and eating them can easily lead to constipation.

How to Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Fruit + Vegetables + Dairy + Grains

Fruits and vegetables provide ample vitamins and fiber, helping to reduce constipation. Dairy products are rich in protein, and grains are rich in carbohydrates, both of which help burn fat.

When you consistently eat a "hearty" breakfast for a period of time, you'll find that even if you don't reduce your lunch and dinner portions, your weight won't increase. This is because the calories from breakfast are burned off throughout the workday. Additionally, feeling full in the morning prevents overeating at lunch and dinner, which helps better control your overall calorie intake.
