Eating less processed food like sausages can make you more violent

Scientists at Oxford University conducted a study on 1000 males and females aged 16-21. The scientists divided them into two groups: one group took long-term vitamins and nutritional supplements, while the other group ate junk food, including large bags of fried potato chips and other high-calorie, industrially processed foods. They were then tracked for a period of one year.

Currently, the study has shown that people who eat junk food are more willing to solve problems with violent behavior and have worse tempers, but specific data has not yet been released. Scientists explained that when the brain is severely deficient in essential nutrients, especially omega-3 fatty acids, which are important components of brain neurons, the brain loses flexibility, has difficulty concentrating, impaired self-control, and an increased tendency towards violence. Junk food has a single nutritional profile, and long-term consumption can lead to nutritional deficiencies.

Previously, British scientists had conducted an experiment on 231 criminals and found that during their detention, criminals who took nutritional supplements had their violent emotions greatly reduced compared to usual. Professor John Stein of Oxford University said that research shows that improving diet can stabilize emotions and also improve health levels.
