What are nutrients?

We often mistakenly think that nutrients are just vitamins, but nutrients are more than just vitamins. 6 important nutrients

Carbohydrates, protein (the component of amino acids), fats, minerals, vitamins, and water. These six substances are all nutrients. They are the absorbable components in food and are essential for human health. Nutrients are indispensable substances for maintaining physical strength, improving organ function, enhancing food utilization, and promoting cell growth.

The difference between micronutrients and macronutrients Micronutrients, such as vitamins and minerals, do not provide us with energy themselves. The macronutrients—carbohydrates, fats, and proteins—are what supply us with energy. However, our bodies must have sufficient micronutrients to release them.

For nutrients, "more" and "less" often make little difference.

Although the "quantity" required for the essential micronutrients and macronutrients to maintain health is vastly different, both are extremely important.
