Long-term excessive cola consumption can lead to sudden death.

Introduction: Many people enjoy drinking soda to cool off and quench their thirst, but remember to do so in moderation. Excessive consumption can cause significant harm to the body. According to a May 31 report by the British Daily Mail, a 30-year-old man in West Yorkshire, England, died suddenly in his sleep after drinking 3 liters of cola daily for many years.

It is reported that the 30-year-old Imman suffered from mild autism and developed a love for drinking large amounts of beverages since he was 10 years old. He would typically drink 3 liters of cola a day and still feel thirsty even after drinking several glasses of water. As a result, he had previously developed hyponatremia due to excessive fluid intake.

>The inquest into Imman's death was held on May 28. He died suddenly last March at a rehabilitation center. The autopsy report revealed that his lungs were severely swollen at the time of his death, weighing three to four times that of a normal person. A pathology expert believes that the excessive consumption of cola and water was the key factor leading to his death.

This is not the first fatal case linked to excessive cola consumption. In 2010, a woman in New Zealand died from drinking too much cola. It is said that she drank at least 7 liters of cola every day.
