Hydrating and moisturizing is a key focus in winter skincare, but many people often overlook the following areas when hydrating.
1. Forehead
Symptom: Peeling
Knowledge: When applying face cream while avoiding the eye area, don't forget to care for your forehead and eyebrows. For the forehead area, you can even apply extra layers.
2. Nose
Symptom: Peeling, redness, itching
Cause: The nose has the densest concentration of sebaceous glands on the entire body. Even people with dry skin will secrete oil here. In winter, however, excessive care can lead to a dry nose tip.
Knowledge: You should reduce the frequency of nose care. If your nose tip feels too oily, apply a lighter face cream to it separately.
3. Behind the ears
Symptom: Tightness
Cause: The skin behind the ears is actually very sensitive, which is why it's often used to test for allergic reactions when trying cosmetics. Therefore, the skin behind the ears can easily tighten due to dryness, which in turn can cause discomfort.
Knowledge: After finishing your facial care, remember to apply some moisturizer around your ears and gently massage with your hands. This helps to soothe tense nerves.
