It feels like Koreans make extensive use of stone pots, as many Chinese dishes also use this type of cookware, which seems to be used similarly to our country's clay pots.

Ingredients

Bowl of rice, one piece of beef, one egg, appropriate amount of carrot, a little cucumber, appropriate amount of enoki mushrooms and bean sprouts, appropriate amount of Korean Bibimbap chili paste, starch, cooking wine, a little sugar, salt.

Steps

1. Shred the beef, mix with salt, starch, cooking wine, sugar, and oil, and set aside;

2. Peel and shred the carrot, shred the cucumber, wash the enoki mushrooms and bean sprouts, and set aside;

3. Heat oil in a wok, add the beef shreds, stir-fry until cooked, then scoop out. Then add the carrots, bean sprouts, and enoki mushrooms to the wok and stir-fry until cooked;

4. Brush a layer of sesame oil in the stone pot, add the rice, then arrange the cooked vegetables and cucumber shreds on top;

5. Then add the Korean Bibimbap chili paste, fry the egg until cooked and place it on top, then heat the stone pot for two minutes.

Tips

The side dishes can be freely replaced. Note that the chili paste is salty, so be mindful of the amount of salt used.

Korean Seaweed Soup

Korean Cuisine Recipe: Korean Seaweed Soup

This seaweed soup is quite important in Korea. It is a staple in traditional Korean homes and is a must-have for festivals and birthdays. It is also called longevity soup.

Ingredients

Appropriate amount of seaweed, 100 grams of beef, 1 spoon of soybean paste, soy sauce, minced garlic, sesame oil, salt.

Steps

1. Soak the seaweed in water until soft, mince the garlic, and wash the beef;

2. Cut the beef into small pieces and marinate with minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil for 15 minutes;

3. Heat oil in a wok, add an appropriate amount of sesame oil, when the oil is hot, add the cut beef and stir-fry for a few minutes;

4. Add enough water to the pot, simmer over low to medium heat for 50 minutes, then add soybean paste and seaweed to the pot;

5. Simmer over low heat for 20 minutes, add minced garlic, season with salt, and it's ready to serve.

Tips

If you can't find Korean seaweed, try to choose good quality seaweed. Add enough water to ensure the beef is stewed until tender.
