The Story Behind the Dish

There are many recipes for Moistening Lung Tea. The one I make is quite simple, mainly using loquat leaves and dragon's tongue leaves, both of which have the effects of clearing heat, moistening the lungs, and resolving phlegm to stop coughs. The other ingredients, dried tangerine peel, Moni fruit, and honey jujube, all have similar effects. As for why an egg is included, I don't really understand. But that's how the elders in my family make it, so I just follow the recipe!
