Corn cooked in the microwave is not only delicious but also very fresh, which is why many people choose to use a microwave. However, there are several small details to pay attention to when making microwave corn, such as the choice of ingredients and the cooking time.
Grilled Corn
Ingredients: Sweet corn, salad oil, a little salt, a little honey, cumin powder, chili powder, aluminum foil or plastic wrap
Instructions:
1. After washing the corn, evenly coat it with salad oil and brush on honey.
2. Wrap the prepared corn cob with aluminum foil or plastic wrap, poke a few holes with a toothpick to let steam escape, then place it in the microwave.
3. Use the microwave's grill function for six minutes. After the time is up, flip it over and cook for another 2 minutes.
4. Take it out, remove the aluminum foil or plastic wrap, sprinkle with salt, cumin powder, and chili powder, and it's ready to eat.
Notes:
1. Don't choose corn that is too old, otherwise it will be tiring to eat.
2. Using plastic wrap will prevent the corn from losing moisture, but remember to leave small holes for steam to escape.
3. Because microwave ovens have different power levels, adjust the cooking time accordingly. Generally, it's done when the corn turns yellow and becomes slightly translucent.
