Cherry radishes originate from temperate regions and are semi-hardy vegetables. The suitable temperature for seed germination is 20~25℃, and the optimal growing temperature is around 20℃. Radishes have relatively strict requirements for light; during their growth period, they require sufficient light. Insufficient light affects the accumulation of photosynthetic products, and the growth of cherry radishes requires a uniform water supply.
In the germination and seedling stages, water demand is not high, and it is only necessary to ensure the moisture requirements for seed germination and maintain soil moisture. If there is insufficient water, the vitamin C content will be reduced. Long-term drought will increase fibrous roots, resulting in a coarse texture and a spicy flavor. Excessive soil moisture leads to poor aeration, causing the epidermis of the root to become coarse, which also affects quality.
