Instant noodles have accompanied us for so long that almost everyone knows of their existence. Most people have cooked instant noodles at some point or watched others do so. But do you know how to add an egg when cooking instant noodles? If not, come and learn with me.
Adding an egg when cooking instant noodles not only makes them more delicious but also more nutritious, supplementing the body with the necessary nutrients. In terms of nutrient absorption and digestibility, a boiled egg is 100%, so adding an egg to instant noodles is a great choice.
However, depending on personal taste, there are two methods: If you prefer a whole egg, the best time to add it is when small, even bubbles form at the bottom of the boiling water. Crack the egg in, and remember to stir gently, avoiding the egg itself. Finally, touch the egg with the tip of your chopstick; when the outside is firm, the yolk will be jam-like. Cook for a little longer, then it's ready. This way, when the noodles are done, the egg will be in its best state: tender with the yolk just set. If you prefer a custard-like egg, add the egg just before the noodles are done and ready to be taken out of the pot. Give it a quick stir with a spoon, then it's ready. Both of these methods break down the protein, making it very easy to digest and absorb.
But it's important to note that the cooking time for instant noodles should not be too long. If it's too long, the noodles will become mushy and lose their texture, significantly reducing their quality!
