4 Methods for Making the Most Nutritious Bone Broth.

A successful bone broth should be rich and milky white. So how do you make such a bone broth? Although bone broth is highly nutritious, not everyone can make it well. Follow along to learn and master the technique!

How to Make Bone Broth

Pork Bone Broth

Ingredients: Lotus root, pork ribs, ginger, (you can also goji berries), salt.

Instructions:

1. Chop the ribs into pieces, blanch them in boiling water, then remove and rinse to wash away any blood.

2. In a pot, place the ribs and a piece of smashed ginger. Add cold water to cover the ribs. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to medium-low, cover, and simmer for 30-45 minutes. (If too much water evaporates, you can add more).

3. Wash the lotus root, cut it into chunks, and add it to the pot. Simmer with the ribs until the lotus root is tender. Add a little salt, (and goji berries), and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Bone Broth with Snow Pear

Ingredients: Main ingredients: 1 large pork bone, 1 snow pear. Auxiliary ingredients: about 10 goji berries, 100g pork tenderloin, salt.

Instructions:

1. Peel the snow pear and slice it for later use.

2. Cut the pork bone into large pieces (this step can be done by the supermarket or the vendor at the market).

3. Dice the pork tenderloin and set aside.

4. Rinse the goji berries to remove any surface dirt and set aside.

5. In a pot, bring cold water to a boil. Add the pork bone and diced pork tenderloin, blanch until the surface tightens. Then, transfer to cold water to rinse, removing any blood and impurities. Drain and set aside.

6. Place the blanched pork bone and pork tenderloin in a pot, add the goji berries. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for about 1 hour. Add the snow pear slices and continue to simmer for another 30 minutes. Turn off the heat and season with salt.

Instructions:

1. Blanch the bone in boiling water and clean it.

2. Wash the corn and carrot, then cut them into large pieces.

4. Season with salt and chicken powder. Sprinkle with celery before serving.

Nutritional Value of Bone Broth

In addition to protein, fat, and vitamins, pork bones also contain a large amount of calcium phosphate, collagen, and bone mucin.

The collagen in bone broth can enhance the body's ability to produce blood cells. Therefore, for middle-aged and elderly people, drinking bone broth can help slow down bone aging.

Similarly, bone broth is also beneficial for bone growth in adolescents.
