There was a cartoon I watched as a child where the main character would eat spinach whenever he was in danger, which gave him all sorts of superpowers. Because of this, I've known since I was little that spinach is a symbol of strength. Spinach is rich in nutrients and has a unique texture. So, what are the benefits of eating spinach regularly? And what are the main things to be aware of when eating it?
I. Nutritional Benefits of Spinach
1. Spinach is rich in dietary fiber, which is very effective for preventing constipation and hemorrhoids, and also promotes good digestive health.
2. Spinach is very rich in carotene, which can be converted into vitamin A. This is great for protecting the eyes, enhances the body's disease resistance, and is very beneficial for human growth and development.
3. Spinach contains a variety of trace elements. These nutrients have excellent anti-aging effects for women. Applying spinach juice to the face can whiten the skin and reduce dark spots, and it also has a very good therapeutic effect on wrinkles.
4. The protein content in spinach is much higher than in other vegetables, giving it excellent blood-enriching properties.

II. Precautions for Eating Spinach
1. Do not eat raw spinach because it contains oxalic acid. Oxalic acid has a strong chemical reaction with calcium, which greatly hinders the absorption of calcium by the body. Therefore, spinach should be blanched at a minimum before cooking to reduce its oxalic acid content.
2. Spinach should not be eaten with tofu, as this combination can easily lead to kidney stones and cause calcium loss. People with kidney or gallstones should also eat less spinach.
3. Spinach should not be cooked with calcium-rich foods, as it can deplete the calcium. Also, spinach should not be stir-fried with pork liver, as this can easily damage the nutrients in the pork liver.
