Ginger for cold resistance and cancer prevention.

As the Winter Solstice approaches, the severe cold has demonstrated the power of a northern winter. Many elderly people with conditions like "old-cold legs" and joint pain experience soreness in their limbs.

In fact, ginger from our kitchen is a master at warding off the cold. However, eating it raw can be too pungent. If you boil ginger slices in water and add brown sugar, drinking a bowl after dinner at night can warm your stomach, dispel cold, and lead to a comfortable night's sleep.

The uses of ginger are not limited to this. According to modern pharmacological research, a hot water extract of ginger showed a tumor inhibition rate of 51.8% in an in vivo test on mice with sarcoma (ascites type), demonstrating significant anti-cancer activity. Ginger's inhibition rate against aflatoxin B1 is as high as 100%. Chinese experiments have proven that 20 micrograms/kilogram of aflatoxin B1 can cause liver cancer in mice. American scientists have discovered that ginger juice can inhibit the growth of skin cancer cells to a certain extent.

For the average household, consuming ginger medicinal food regularly can help prevent and fight cancer. It is both economical and convenient.
