Introduction: How to eat breakfast? Nutritionists point out: Breakfast is essential. A good breakfast not only provides abundant energy for morning studies but is also highly beneficial for growth and development.
Surveys show that students who have a good breakfast for breakfast have significantly higher average academic performance than those who do not. The first thing to do in the morning is to drink 200ml of warm water. Drinking a glass of milk, soy milk, or a bowl of congee or noodles while eating breakfast can supplement enough water. Many families are accustomed to eating congee or noodle soup for breakfast, which is a good habit. The "dry and wet combination" can both replenish water and ensure sufficient calories.
Several principles regarding breakfast:
Principle one: It's better not to eat than not to drink. Even if you're about to be late and have no time to eat, you must drink some milk, soy milk, or congee, and then take a piece of bread or half a packet of biscuits with you. According to the standards of European and American countries, the best breakfast for teenagers should include a glass of milk, a glass of orange juice, an egg, a slice of ham, and two or three slices of bread. This is more nutritionally complete. For us Chinese, we can give our children a glass of milk, an egg, or a dish of soy products for breakfast, along with some staple food, and preferably a tomato or an orange. When eating breakfast out, don't always choose fried foods; instead, choose nutritious and easily digestible foods like egg pancakes with red bean congee.
Principle two: In addition to starch, add some protein and fat. It is recommended to eat fruits rich in vitamin C for breakfast, such as oranges, strawberries, and tomatoes. However, note that you should not eat fruit only after your stomach is already very full. It is best to eat it after drinking water and milk, but before the main breakfast begins.
Principle three: Add a little fruit or vegetable. Don't make your breakfast too greasy, as this will burden the digestive system and make it difficult to quickly concentrate on the first two periods of intense morning study. This is especially important for children who are generally weak or have poor digestion.
