Six soups for flawless, fair, and supple skin.

Introduction: As winter arrives, many women start to worry about dryness and dark spots. Here are six whitening and beautifying soups that will leave your skin clear and flawless before you know it!

Tomato Juice

Drinking 1 cup of tomato juice daily or eating tomatoes frequently is effective in preventing and treating freckles. Tomatoes are rich in vitamin C, known as a "warehouse of vitamin C." Vitamin C can inhibit the activity of tyrosinase in the skin, effectively reducing melanin formation, which makes the skin fair and freckles fade.

Cucumber Congee

Take 100g of rice, 300g of fresh cucumber, 2g of fine salt, and 10g of ginger. Wash the cucumber, peel it, remove the core, and slice it thinly. Wash the rice clean, wash the ginger, and lightly crush it. Add about 1000ml of water to a pot, bring to a boil over high heat, then add the rice and ginger. Once boiling, reduce the heat and simmer slowly until the rice is soft. Add the cucumber slices and continue cooking until the congee is thick. Season with fine salt. Serve warm twice a day to moisturize the skin, remove spots, and aid in weight loss.

Tomato and Pear Juice

Lemon Rock Sugar Juice

Squeeze the juice from a lemon and add an appropriate amount of rock sugar to drink. Lemons are rich in vitamin C, with 100g of lemon juice containing up to 50mg of vitamin C. They also contain calcium, phosphorus, iron, and B vitamins. Regular consumption of lemon juice can not only whiten and soften the skin, prevent aging of skin blood vessels, and eliminate facial pigmentation, but also helps prevent arteriosclerosis.

Black Fungus and Red Date Soup

Take 30g of black fungus and 20 red dates. Wash the black fungus, remove the pits from the red dates, add an appropriate amount of water, and simmer for about half an hour. Take once after breakfast and once after dinner daily. Regular consumption can help maintain a youthful appearance, remove spots, and improve muscle tone. It is also used to treat facial dark spots and emaciation. In this recipe, the black fungus is recorded in the "Compendium of Materia Medica" as being able to remove facial dark spots. Black fungus can moisturize the skin and prevent aging; red dates help replenish qi, strengthen the spleen, and moisturize the skin, aiding the black fungus in removing dark spots.

Orange, Lemon, and Bitter Melon Juice

Carrot Juice

Grate fresh carrots and squeeze out the juice, taking 10-30ml. After washing your face in the morning and evening, pat your face with the fresh juice. Once it dries, gently pat your face with a hand coated in vegetable oil. Additionally, drinking 1 cup of carrot juice daily also has a spot-fading effect. Carrots are rich in provitamin A, which is converted into vitamin A in the body. Vitamin A moisturizes and strengthens the skin and can prevent rough skin and freckles.

Winter Melon Water

Water simmered with winter melon vines can be used to wash the face and bathe, moisturizing the skin and eliminating freckles. Marigold leaf juice also has skin-care and spot-removing effects. Mash marigold leaves, extract the juice, and apply it to the face to not only eliminate freckles but also to refresh and whiten the skin. Dandelion flower water can also be used to remove spots. Take a handful of dandelions, pour in a cup of boiling water, let it cool, then strain. Use the dandelion flower water to wash your face in the morning and evening to keep your face clean and reduce the risk of dermatitis.
