Many people eat eggs for breakfast, and some even have them every single day. But don't think you're a nutrition expert just because you eat eggs daily. In fact, almost everyone makes 12 common mistakes when eating eggs. Do you know them? Come and master the right way to eat eggs.

Mistake 1: Boiling eggs in boiling water
Correct method: Place eggs in cold water, then heat slowly. Once the water comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes. After turning off the heat, let the eggs soak for another 5 minutes. This method results in tender egg whites and firm, but not overcooked, yolks.
Mistake 2: Cracking eggs on the rim of a bowl or stove
Correct method: You should crack eggs on a flat, clean surface (like a countertop) instead of the edge of a bowl. This prevents small pieces of the shell from falling into the bowl and contaminating the egg, and it also avoids wasting egg white while trying to remove the shell fragments.
Mistake 3: Letting cooked eggs cool naturally before peeling
Correct method: After boiling, immediately transfer the eggs to cold water. As soon as they are cool enough to handle, peel them right away. This makes peeling much faster and easier, and the white will separate from the shell more cleanly.
Mistake 4: Adding salt when boiling poached eggs
Correct method: When poaching eggs, add a little vinegar (not salt) to the hot (but not boiling) water. After 3-4 minutes, you can remove the egg from the water. This will result in a more tender poached egg.
Mistake 5: Adding seasoning at the very end when scrambling eggs
Correct method: For scrambled eggs and omelets, you should add the seasoning while whisking the eggs or just before they go into the pan. This ensures that the flavor is distributed evenly.
Mistake 6: Scrambling eggs over high heat
Correct method: Use medium to low heat and gently stir-fry. This will give the eggs a smoother texture and prevent them from burning.
