I am alone at home and don't really want to cook, nor do I want to eat instant noodles to deal with it. After thinking about it for a while, I came up with a lazy method, and cooked the rice together, which was quick, simple and nutritious. Post it here. If you want to be lazy one day, you can also try it, hehe

Steps for steamed rice

Shave and wash 2 small potatoes, wash two small carrots, and a bowl of Northeast rice.

Cut the carrots and potatoes into diced cubes, wash the rice thoroughly, place it in the pan and add water. The amount of water is the same as that used to steam rice normally.

It's even more convenient if you use a rice cooker. Using an electric pressure cooker is best. Soak the rice for half an hour beforehand, and make the water level even with the rice. The cooked rice is very al dente, which I love the most. If you prefer firmer rice, you can use this method. Since there are children in my family, we use a regular pressure cooker at home; the rice is softer, which suits kids better.
