Steps for Corn flour cake

Ingredients: 200 grams of flour, 100 grams of fine corn flour, 3 grams of baking powder, 3 grams of yeast, 30-40 grams of white sugar, 110ml of warm water, some dried red dates.

Mix flour, corn flour, sugar, and baking powder well in a basin; melt the yeast in warm water.

Pour the yeast water into the flour and knead into a uniform dough.

Put the dough into the cake mold (brush lightly with oil on the bottom all around), and leave in a warm place to wake for 0.5-1 hour to double the size.

Wash the dried red dates, soak for 20 minutes, pour them into a saucepan, add water and cook for 5-10 minutes.

Embed the cooked red dates into the surface of the dough and place them in a steamer.

Turn on high heat, steam for 20 minutes, remove immediately, and remove the mold.
