Northerners call them fried dumplings, and southerners call them pot stickers. There are many ways to make them, and mine is the simplest and most convenient one.

Steps for fried dumpling

Made dumplings.

Pack the dumplings in a non-stick pan.

Pour oil one-third the height of the dumplings.

Cover and fry on high heat for 5 minutes.

Open the lid, tilt the pan and turn for 2 minutes.

Pour half of the oil out of the pan.

Pour over the same amount of water or stock with the same amount of oil and cook over high heat for 5 minutes.

Sprinkle with chopped green onions and white sesame seeds.

Change to medium heat and turn to the pan and cook for 3 minutes before it is baked.
