Clean the ribs and cut them into large pieces.

Put the ribs into boiling water with ginger slices and cooking wine and blanch them.

Remove the ribs and wash them with warm water for later use.

Cut the carrots into pieces, and cut the onions into large pieces.

Put the ribs into the pan, add boiling water (just before the ribs) and bring to a boil.

Add ingredients and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes.

Make marinade while cooking the ribs. Chop onions, garlic and red bell peppers.
