Christmas cake

Christmas cake
Next week is Christmas, and my son's school has also begun to have a holiday. Before the holiday, the school has Christmas parties, and students exchange small gifts with each other. Today, there was a party where my son learned to paint. I prepared small gifts for his teachers and classmates and made a cake for them. I was going to decorate it with white chocolate, but I forgot to buy it when buying the ingredients. It has rained heavily these days, so I didn't want to go out, so I just used fruits to decorate it.

Steps for Christmas cake

  • Make step 0
    1
Put the egg whites in a clean water-free and oil-free container, add sugar and vinegar and beat until hard and frothy (I put all sugar in one time).
  • Make step 1
    2
Beat the egg yolks, sugar, corn oil and milk until the oil and water are mixed and the color is a little white.
  • Make step 2
    3
Pour in the sifted low powder and mix with a rubber knife until free of particles.

    4
Take 1/3 of the egg white and mix well.

Pour into the remaining 2/3 of the protein paste and stir quickly. (Remember not to make circles when mixing, but to turn, mix, cut and mix)

Pour it into a 10-inch mold and shake it a few times to create large bubbles.
  • Make step 6
    7
Place in a preheated 320F/160C oven and bake for 60 minutes. (The temperature of each oven varies, and the time is adjusted as needed.) Remove it and let it cool, and you can remove the mold.

Look at the cake. It's very tall.

    9
Cut the cake into 2 slices with a bread blade.

Beat the whipped cream with sugar until 9 and distribute. It has obvious lines, but can still flow slowly.

Take a cake slice, lightly apply cream, and sprinkle with diced strawberries and diced dragon fruit.
  • Make step 11
    12
Add another piece of cake and add the cream.
  • Make step 12
    13
Use a spatula to smooth as much as possible. (My level still hasn't improved.) Use two large kitchen knives to transfer the cake onto the cake tray.
  • Make step 13
    14
Drop 2 drops of pink food coloring on the remaining cream and beat until stiff.
  • Make step 14
    15
Put it in a decorative bag, squeeze some patterns on the cake, and add fruits to decorate it.
  • Make step 15

Forgot to save some white cream for Santa Claus, so I had to use pink.
  • Christmas cake Make Tips

Ingredients (10-inch): (Usually this amount makes one 10-inch and one 6-inch cake for me; this time I only baked one 10-inch one, so the cake overflowed.) Egg White Mixture: 10 egg whites, 2/3 cup sugar, a few drops of vinegar. Egg Yolk Mixture: 10 egg yolks, 2/3 cup milk, 2/3 cup corn oil, 4 tablespoons sugar, 2 cups low-gluten flour (sifted). Cake Decoration: Ingredients: 2 cups fresh cream (500ML), 1 cup sugar, appropriate amount of fruit (I used strawberries, kiwi, and dragon fruit), 2 drops of pink food coloring. (Forgive me, I only have pink and purple food coloring.)
