Dried fruit bread
By ColeZieme
This bread tastes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It is rich in almonds and walnuts, making it delicious and chewy. The recipe comes from Junzhi's raisin and almond bread. I added extra walnuts in it, and it's delicious.

Steps for Dried fruit bread

1
Bake the almonds and walnuts in the 180C oven for 5 minutes, roll them into pieces with a rolling pin, and add the raisins that have been soaked in brandy all night and mix well.
2
In addition to butter and dried fruits, knead the ingredients into a ball, add softened butter, knead until expanded, add the dried fruits, knead for 2-3 minutes until the dried fruits and dough are evenly mixed, place the dough in a container, and place it in a warm place to ferment until twice as large.
3
Press to vent, divide into 2 portions, round, cover with plastic wrap and relax for 15 minutes.
4
Round again, place in a baking sheet, and ferment again. (I put them in a preheated 35c oven and put a bowl of hot water in the oven. It took 40 minutes.) After secondary fermentation, wipe with egg liquid.
5
Place it in an oven preheated at 170C (I baked at 320F), bake for 30 minutes until the surface is colored, and wipe it with melted butter immediately after taking out.
6
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
