Apple pie
By MandyMiller
The children at home don't like snack apples, but they like pie very much, so I often make apple pie and pumpkin pie. But I am very lazy and buy ready-made pie skins. In fact, it is healthier to make your own pie.

Steps for Apple pie

1
Thaw the pie crust, make some small holes in the bottom with a fork, bake in the oven at 400F/200C for 10 minutes, remove and let cool.
2
Peel and core 2 apples, dice, and bubble with light salt water to prevent oxidation.
3
Peel and core 1 apple, and stir with a blender into a puree.
4
Peel and core 1 apple, cut into thin slices, and soak in light salt water to prevent oxidation.
5
Whisk the puree, sugar, cinnamon powder and corn starch in a small saucepan until the sugar dissolves, and let cool.
6
Stir in diced apples and chopped walnuts.
7
Pour into pie skin and smooth out.
8
Spread the apple slices.
9
Preheat the oven to 400F/200C, put the apple pie in and bake for 20 minutes, use a brush to brush the apple slices with sugar water, reduce the oven temperature to 350F/180C and continue to bake for 30 minutes. Brush the sugar water again halfway to prevent the apple slices from roasting too dry.
10
The fragrant apple pie is out of the oven.
