Steps for Steamed pomfret

De-viscera and wash the pomfret. Make several cuts on the fish.

Spread salt evenly on the body and belly of the fish and marinate for one night (add less salt if the time is long, add more if the time is short. I marinate for one night to make the fish more delicious).

Drizzle with cooking wine and add shredded ginger before steaming.

Boil water over high heat and steam for 10 minutes.
