I have always wanted to make pudding, and I often search the Internet, but the materials are all strange... Recently, I found a very simple method and share it.

First divide the milk into two portions, mix one portion with white sugar and place it on low heat, and slowly heat it to melt the white sugar.2
The pudding mold can be replaced by a porcelain teacup with a large top and a small bottom. Wash and dry, and apply a thin layer of oil for later use.3
Add 15 grams of water and 50 grams of sugar to the pan, slowly simmer over low heat until golden brown, pour it into the pudding mold while it is hot, and pad the bottom layer of the pudding mold (about 2 mm thick).4
Knock the eggs into a bowl and beat evenly. First add cold milk and stir, then add hot milk melted with sugar and stir well, then filter with a fine sieve to form an egg cream.5
Pour the egg cream into the pudding mold (fill it until 80% full), place it into the cage and simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes, until the center of the egg cream is cooked, and then take it out of the cage.
