Steps for corn cake

1
Pour the cornmeal into a large bowl, add a small amount of flour and mix well, make it into a paste with warm water, then cover and place in a higher temperature place for natural fermentation. My house is geothermal, so I put it directly in the corner of the living room. It only takes me to ferment for almost one night.
2
Pour soda powder into the fermented corn paste with water, and stir clockwise or counterclockwise with chopsticks or other tools.
3
Prepare the steamer, put in cold water, bring the water to the boil first, and lay the drawer cloth after boiling.
4
Pour the corn paste onto the paved drawer cloth, decide the thickness yourself.
5
Continue to lay the upper layer.
6
Spread the lid, cover the lid, and steam for 15 minutes over high heat. The thickness of my shop this time is not thick, and the steaming time is shorter. (After laying, you can put some dates, nuts, or raisins.)
7
After steaming.
8
Remove it immediately after steaming, remove the drawer cloth and let it cool.
9
When opening the drawer cloth, I turned the cake upside down and cut it into square pieces with a knife.
