Bitter (cool) melons are very good to eat in this weather. When paired with seafood, they will have a unique flavor. Balsam pear is often used in Cantonese dish braised fish. The taste of the two is very good. The balsam pear has the fresh aroma of fish and is very delicious. I'll have a bitter gourd soaked in razor clams. It's also very good.
