Golden drum fish, some people call it money fish, grows at the junction of salty and fresh water at the mouth of the Pearl River. This fish tastes delicious and the meat is relatively tender. It was found that fish that generally grow at the junction of salty and fresh water have relatively tender and fatter meat. It is not cheap to sell fish in this market, costing 40 to 50 yuan per catty. However, there are still quite a lot of people buying it. People here like to steam it with the peel, or tangerine peel. It tastes sweet, fragrant and tender, and it tastes very delicious. I bought two pieces, but they are still fresh. I will make them with this method for everyone to see.

Steps for Steamed golden drum fish with peel

Slaughter the fish and wash it for use.

Put a few green onions under the plate, place the fish on top, shred the tangerine peel, place on top of the fish, and drizzle with soy sauce and peanut oil.

Add water to the pan and bring to a boil. Put the fish into the pan and steam for 6 minutes.
