Steps for Piggy Bean Bun

Dissolve the yeast in warm water and let stand for 5 minutes. Add appropriate amount of hot water to rinse off the red yeast powder.

Pour the flour into the bread maker and add the yeast water.

Knead into dough with a smooth surface.

Fermentation to twice the original size.

Add red yeast to the fermented dough and knead well.

Round and ferment for another 15 minutes.

Divide into the required small portions, wrap in the bean paste filling, close the mouth and pinch tightly to make the pig's body.

Roll the nose into an oval with round dough sheet, and use chopsticks to tie two eyes on it as nostrils.

Roll thin slices of red dough and press it into slices using a mold to use it as pig ears.

Rub a small piece of noodles and wrap it around the eight characters and press it on the back to make a pig's tail, and decorate it with black sesame seeds to make eyes.

Put the cooked piglets in a steamer, ferment for another 20-30 minutes, and steam on fire.
