Steps for Home-cooked chicken pot

Chop half of the chicken into pieces, add soy sauce, soy sauce, sugar, paste pepper powder, sand tea sauce, and hoisin sauce and marinate for 10 minutes.2
Saute the ginger slices and green onions in a wok until fragrant, then add the marinated chicken pieces and stir-fry. After frying until fragrant, add cooking wine (rice wine is also fine) and stir-fry, cover the pan for one minute.3
Put the fried chicken nuggets in a sand pot and simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes4

You can add fresh mushrooms according to your preference; there is no need to add water throughout the process as they will release liquid during braising. Generally, Zhuhou sauce is best for clay pot dishes, but since I didn't have any at home, I used the available seafood sauce and Shacha sauce. You can also add a little oyster sauce halfway through to enhance the flavor.
